Superstring Z' boson in the production of jets in e-e+ annihilation
Description
The production of jets in the annihilation of an arbitrarily polarized e-e+ pair is studied in the super-string E6 model. Expressions for helicity amplitudes, effective cross sections, and various polarization characteristics of the processes e-e+ → q bar qg and e-e+ → q bar qg are obtained. A detailed analysis of polarization effects in the production of charmed and beautiful quarks (scalar quarks) is performed. It is found that the study of polarization characteristics in the processes e-e+ → q bar qg and e-e+ → q bar qg is of paramount importance for extracting information about the properties of an additional superstring boson. 30 refs., 5 figs
