Inelastic scattering of 9Be of 27 MeV/A to giant resonances

Description
Inelastic scattering spectra have been measured with 245 MeV incident energy 9Be ions, on 208Pb target. They show large excitation of the 208Pb giant quadrupole resonance. DWBA calculations are reported and compared with the data
