Control of bath state of oxidation during corrosion resistant steel melting in electric furnance

Description
The results of investigaton into the 12Kh18N10T steel melting in a 20 t electric arc furnace are presented; determination of e.m.f. and temperature of metal has been conducted during melting alongside with main technological operation. The electrochemical method for measuring metal state of oxida-- tion and determinaton of peculiarities of oxygen and carbon behaviour under oxidizina refining of alloyed steel permit to control the technological process of bath decarburization under melting corrosion-resistant steel in the electric arc furnace
