Processing method for radioactive material containing solution

Description

Titanium oxide adsorbent is cleaned by purified water or an aqueous nitric acid solution to remove extrafine titanium oxide particles deposited on the adsorbent, then radioactive materials are removed by adsorption from a solution containing radioactive materials by the adsorbent. With such procedures, since no extrafine TiO2 particles are additionally dropped, all of the predetermined amount of the TiO2 adsorbent can contribute to the adsorbing reaction, so that the adsorption efficiency is not lowered.
