Description

The simple and direct experimental test of the Bohm-Bub hidden variable theory undertaken by Papaliolios (1967) is described. The paper also describes the ingenious method used by Bell (1965) to distinguish some of the predictions of all local deterministic hidden variable theories from those of quantum mechanics. Other experiments to test the validity of local hidden variable theories are discussed. (B.R.H.)
