Synthesis of Zn(BH4)2 and RbBH4·18C6 using mechanochemical activation

Description
Optimum conditions are found for the synthesis of Zn(BH4)2 by mechanochemical activation (MA) using the exchange reaction between zinc chloride and sodium borohydride. Chemical preparation of RbBH4· 18Crown6 complex by the above method is descried and some physicochemical properties of the complex are determined. The MA method is shown to be promising in synthesis of thermally unstable compounds
