Statics analysis of the temperature measurement branch in a thermo-hydraulic sodium testing loop
Creators
Description
The temperature measurement branch is a subsystem in a thermo-hydraulic sodium testing loop. It is very important to check and guarantee the safe operation of the loop. Because the subsystem operates at 650 degree C, it is necessary to analyse the stress of the subsystem piping. The analysis is according to the criteria SDGJ6-78 completed with program PSDP. The analysis included is as follows: check the primary stress intensity; check the secondary stress intensity; check the range of the primary plus secondary stress intensity; check the peak stress intensity (using the stress multiplying factors); check the maximum pushing forces which act on the ends of the piping (considering the fixing and safety of equipment). The dynamic and creep analysis is not included in this analysis
