Description
111In leukocyte scintigraphy is used as a screening procedure for identifying abscess sites in patients without localizing signs. Using transferrin as a competing ligand, leukocyte labelling efficiency with 111In oxine was determined at various incubation times. The labelling efficiency versus incubation time curve thus generated showed optimal labelling within 10-15 min of incubation. Incubation at 370C did not significantly increase the rate or extent of labelling. (U.K.)
