High energy hadronic cross sections induced by hard scattering of flux strings

Description
The gluon exchange picture of the Pomeron is realized in a flux tube model of colliding hadrons leading to high energy hadronic cross sections related to the sizes of the colliding hadrons. This contribution is of a ''hard Pomeron'' type in the nomenclature suggested recently by Bjorken
