The resolution of the time-of-flight neutron diffractometer DN-2 on the IBR-2 is constructed on the base of experimental data. The comparison of calculated and measured diffraction spectra from the standard Al2O3 polycrystalline sample pointed to their conformity within the 2.5% limit
