Thermal stability of grain structure in austenitic alloys quenched from liquid state
- 1. Tsentral'nyj Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Inst. Chernoj Metallurgii, Moscow (Russian Federation). Inst. Metallovedeniya i Fiziki Metallov
Description
By the methods of light and electron microscopy grain growth during heating in rapidly quenched from liquid state iron-nickel and stainless alloys with austenitic structure was studied. After the treatment a high thermal stability of the grain structure was attained. Reasons determining the stability were discussed
