Status of the Borexino experiment
Creators
Description
The next generation of solar neutrino experiments will study mainly low energy solar neutrinos. In particular, Borexino among the new experiments aims to search for 7Be neutrinos by neutrino-electron elastic scattering in 300 tons of high purity scintillator. In this paper the detector design and the status of the Borexino experiment are briefly reviewed
