Magnetic properties and structure of iron oxides after plastic flow under pressure
Description
The specific features of the process by which high-temperature superconducting (HTSC) ceramics are produced often have a perceptible influence on their properties. In particular, degree of oxide dispersion in the original charge and oxide chemical activity play a major role in the ceramic method. One dispersion technique is magnetochemical treatment involving exposure to high pressure and shear deformation. The mechanism of the magnetochemical processes that take place under these conditions remain largely unclear. The present investigation was conducted to study the effect of high pressures and shear deformation on iron oxides
