Temperature hysteresis of the effective shear modulus and internal friction in beryllium
- 1. Chernovitskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Chernovtsy (Ukraine)
Description
An investigation is made of hysteresis of the temperature dependences of internal friction and effective shear modulus (Geff) in a beryllium condensate. It is shown that the reason for hysteresis is the internal stresses due to anisotropy of the coefficients of thermal expansion (α) and isothermal compressibility (kappa). (author)
