Study on gamma radiation backscattering
- 1. Institute of Chemical Defense, Beijing (China)
Description
In this paper, the Monte Carlo simulation method was used to study the relationship between the inverse scattering photon detector solid angle spanned by radiation and geometric position of detectors, radioactive source and anti-scattering material. The content is to find sources, detectors and anti-scattering material among the best geometry relationship to ensure the anti-scattered photon detector solid angle spanned by the largest. And using experimental platform to verify the simulation results, the experimental platform consists DSA1000 digital multi-channel, LaBr3 detectors, 133Ba and the corresponding inverse scattering radioactive material and other components.
