Description
The highly pure thermal neutron beam from the 87 m curved neutron guide at the Grenoble high flux reactor has been used to study the (nsub(th),α) and (nsub(th),γα) reaction on 143Nd, 149Sm and 147Sm target nuclei. The cross-sections for the α-particle lines seen in the (nsub(th),α)-reaction are given and discussed. The (nsub(th),γα) reaction cross-sections on 143Nd, 149Sm and 147Sm are respectively 1.3+-0.3 mb, 1.75+-0.4 mb and <35 μb. (Auth.)
