Verification of the 3-dimensional core model DYN3D/M2
Description
An overview is given of significant results concerning previous verification activities for the three-dimensional core model DYN3D/M2 developed for reactors with hexagonal fuel elements. The investigations carried out for steady-state and time-dependent power density, thermohydraulics and fuel rod model as well as for the integral model are described. The validations are based on the calculation of single effect tests and experiments on VVER-specific test facilities, comparisons with other codes and benchmark solutions and partly on the comparison of calculated parameters with measured data from operating NPP with VVER. Further need of verification exists particularly for the integral model and the application to VVER-1000 reactors. (orig.)

Es wird eine Uebersicht ueber die wesentlichsten Ergebnisse bisheriger Arbeiten zur Verifikation des dreidimensionalen Kernmodells DYN3D/M2 fuer Reaktoren mit hexagonalen Brennelementen gegeben. Verifikationsuntersuchungen fuer stationaere und instationaere Leistungsdichteberechnung, Thermohydraulik und Brennstabmodell sowie das Gesamtmodell werden beschrieben. Die Verifikation erfolgte durch Nachrechnung von Einzeleffekttests und Experimenten an WWER-spezifischen Versuchsanlagen. Vergleich mit anderen Codes und Benchmarkloesungen sowie teilweise durch Vergleich berechneter Parameter mit Betriebsmessdaten aus KKW mit WWER. Verifikationsbedarf besteht insbesondere noch fuer das Gesamtmodell und die Anwendung auf den WWER-1000. (orig.)
