Search for heavy neutrinos
- 1. Schweizerisches Inst. fuer Nuklearforschung, Villigen
Description
The authors have measured the energy spectrum of muons from the decay of pions at rest in a scintillator. The existence of a heavy neutrino would result in an additional line in this spectrum. From the data, no evidence is found for the existence of a heavy neutrino in the mass range between 4 MeV/c2 and 30 MeV/c2. (Auth.)
