Remarks concerning the E8 x E8 and D16 string theories
Description
Completing the results of Green and Schwarz, we prove that the E8 . E8 and D16 supersymmetric theories are both anomaly-free in ten dimensions and discuss their relation with the even unimodular lattices. (orig.)
