Radioactivity monitoring of areas near nuclear installations in Baden-Wuerttemberg. Annual report 1999
Description
The measured results reflect the long-lived nuclides from the fallout of earlier nuclear weapons tests in the atmosphere and the Chernobyl reactor accident. Particularly in the hydrosphere, traces of licensed discharges from the nuclear facilities covered by the report have been detected. The measured values are safely below the limiting values and do not imply radiation hazards to the population. There were no measurements indicating any elevated or unauthorized radioactivity discharges. (orig.)

In den Messergebnissen spiegeln sich die langlebigen Nuklide der frueheren orberirdischen Kernwaffenversuche und des Reaktorunfalles von Tschernobyl wieder. Auch Spuren von genehmigten Ableitungen aus dem Betrieb der Anlagen waren in Einzelfaellen, hauptsaechlich im Bereich der Oberflaechenwaesser, nachweisbar. Die Werte liegen in unbedenklichen Bereichen und sind fuer die Strahlenbelastung der Bevoelkerung bedeutungslos. Hinweise auf erhoehte oder ungenehmigte Ableitungen wurden nicht festgestellt.
