Physics at the Large Hadron Collider
Description
The physics motivation of the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is presented. After an introduction to the general principles that governs the design of the LHC detectors, the physics performance of these detectors is illustrated analyzing its discovery potential for the Higgs bosons. ((orig.))
