Photostimulated recombination of hole color centers in silicate glasses
Description
Effect of low-energy optical radiation with hν<E on radiation color centers in sodium-silicate glasses is investigated. The effect of linearly polirized radiation with hν=2.8 and 3.7 eV leads to an increase of radiation absorption with polarization orthogonal to the activating radiation polarization. The spectrum of this absorption represents a band with the maximum on 2.8 eV and width at the semialtitude of 0.9 eV
