Periodic air flow in volume-loaded tubes by the fast Fourier transform method
Description
The application of the Fast Fourier Transform method on a volume-loaded fluid line subjected to a periodic excitation has been demonstrated. The paper uses two volume models: the adiabatic volume and the transmission line cylinder. At the appropriate conditions as indicated in the literature for long cylinder, the much simpler adiabatic volume gives a good description of the flow dynamics in the cylinder
