Description

We calculate the cross section of transversely polarized Drell-Yan process at a measured QT of the lepton pair to O(αs) in the dimensional regularization, which gives QCD prediction at large QT. Large logarithmic contributions due to soft gluon emissions, which are relevant in small QT region, are resummed to all orders of perturbation theory up to next-to-leading logarithmic accuracy. Combining these contributions in a systematic way, we derive the cross section with uniform accuracy over the entire range of QT
