Comparative analysis of ceramic methods of synthesizing YBa2Cu3O7-δ

Description
Sequence of phase transformations at synthesis of YBa2Cu3O7-δ depending on temperature and time of annealing, is studied. Synthesis of YBa2Cu3O7-δ occurs through formation of various intermediate substances depending on the used reagents. Synthesis temperature may be reduced by 50 deg C at substitution of barium nitrate or peroxide for barium carbonate. Application of spraying dryer of solutions or of mechanoactivation of initial mixture of powders results in reduction of formation temperature of the finite product by 50 and 100 deg C, respectively. 9 refs., 4 figs
