Influence of ratio of functional groups in phenolsulfonic cationites on their selectivity to heavy alkaline metal ions
Creators
Description
Selectivity of phenolsulfonic cationites has been studied. By means of comparing selectivity of a number of resin samples the effect of elements of cationite structure is clarified. Their physicochemical properties are determined. It is shown that selectivity of phenolsulfonic cationites to Cs+ ions is conditioned by the ratio of-OH- and SO3H-groups in resin. With the increase of Esub(OH)/Esub(SO3H) ratio the selectivity increases
