How Japan successfully repaired the Tokai dissolvers

Description

At Japan's Tokai reprocessing plant, a number of leaks have occurred in the dissolvers. To remedy the problem remote devices were developed to conduct inspection and repair. These devices and their operation in the inspection and repair of welds are described. Brief details of repair of the acid recovery evaporator are also given. (U.K.)
