Dynamic properties of plastically prestrained aluminium

Description

The dynamic properties of plastically prestrained aluminium specimens were determined by means of a resonance method. Storage moduli and damping capacity were obtained for various levels of the applied stress and various frequencies. The effect of the specimen thickness was also examined and the mechanisms involved were investigated. (orig.)

Die dynamischen Eigenschaften von plastisch vorverformten Aluminiumproben wurden mit Hilfe eines Resonanzverfahrens bestimmt. Lagermoduli und Daempfungsvermoegen wurden fuer verschiedene Lastniveaus und Frequenzen bestimmt. Daneben wurde der Einfluss der Probendicke untersucht und die beteiligten Mechanismen behandelt.
