Development of the Czechoslovak nUclear power complex

Description

The research tasks are briefly described following from the construction of the nuclear energy complex in Czechoslovakia, and the contribution of the newly established Research Institute of Fuel and Energy Complex to their solution. The Institute's main task is research at the level of forecasting and conceptional planning. The results are given of a comparison of several variants of the construction of nuclear power plants with WWER 1000 reactors with regard to costs and demands on personnel. The strategy is described of the three-campaign fuel replacement which allows a 0.5% increase in mean burn-Up. (Ha)
