Synthesis of 3H-labeled aminomethylcyclohexane
Description
Multiply labeled aminomethylcyclohexane is synthesized by hydrogenation with 3H2 gas of benzylamine in solution and the solid state. For solution hydrogenation the molar radioactivity of the product reached 100-120 Ci/mmole; for solid-state, 200 Ci/mmole. The distribution of 3H in the product varied as a function of the hydrogenation method
