Generalization of the Feshbach unified nuclear reaction theory to rearrangement collisions
Creators
- 1. Physics Department, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio 44106
Description
A multipartition version of the Feshbach unified nuclear reaction theory is formulated. The new theory can deal with rearrangement processes as well as with elastic and inelastic processes. The generalization results from replacing the Lippmann-Schwinger equation for the transition operator by the Baer-Kouri or Kouri-Levin coupled integral equations
