Nonlinear magnetooptics on Fe monolayers
Description
A method was developed, by which the nonlinear magnetooptics of thin magnetic films could be completely calculated on the base of ab initio methods. For this the FLAPW method WIEN95 based on the density functional theory was extended by the spin-orbit coupling, and the optical dipole-transition matrix elements were directly calculated from the wave function
