Chemical X-ray fluorescence determination of nickel, copper, zinc and cadmium using ion exchange cellulose membranes

Description
The X-ray fluorescence-electrochemisorption method for cadmium determination, including a stage of preliminary concentration of the element on an ion exchange membrane is developed. The membranes, based on cellulose impregnated by 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthols reagent, are made according to a standard technology, that makes possible to use them as irradiator-samples in the method of an external standard. Determination limit of Cd is 0.03 μg/ml, relative standard deviation for Cd concentrations 3.5 and 50 μg/ml is 0.220 and 0.036, correspondingly
