Specific heat of neodymium hexaboride in the range of magnetic phase transition

Description
Temperature dependence of neodymium hexaboride specific heat in the temperature range of 4.2-30 K, including the range of phase transformation from antiferromagnetic state to paramagnetic one at TN = 7.74 K, has been studied experimentally. The ascertained thermodynamical characteristics of magnetic phase transition in neodymium hexaboride are close to the relevant values for certain other hexaborides, LaB6 and YbB6, for instance
