Decay of 85Br

Description
Gamma-ray transitions following β--decay of 85Br have been identified through analysis of the γ-ray spectrum of fission product bromine isotopes. Of the forty-four transitions identified, twenty six have been incorporated in a level scheme which includes the majority of levels observed in the reaction 82Se(α,nγ)85Kr and a number of levels not previously defined. The proposed scheme is compared with 85Kr levels observed in neutron stripping and pickup reactions. (Auth.)
