Description
The isotopic effect in copper-oxygen high-temperature superconductors is considered within the frames of the model of the Jahn-Teller centers-one of the versions of the local bosons model. The isotopic effect indices for oxygen and copper depend on the Jahn-Teller centers structure and its change during the boson model. The possibility of quantitative explanation of experimentally observed αCu and αO values and their connection with Tc
