Description

The AMPTE experiment with barium cloud injection into the solar wind is carried out to study the effect of immobile plasma cloud acceleration by plasma flow moving across the magnetic field. A model of short circuit and distribution of electric fields explaining the main features of dynamics of artificial comet in the AMPTE experiment is suggested
