Radiation effects in chemistry of the 4B group elements (Si, Ge, Sn, Pb)

Description
In review of works published up to 1977 the effect of ionizing radiation on the main reactions of organometallic synthesis of group 4B elements (Si, Ge, Sn, Pb) is discussed. γirradiation leads to: radiolysis of organometallic compounds of grou 4B elements; addition to C=C bonds, redistribution of radicals; reactions resulting in substitution of functional groups or organic substituents at meta atoms; reactions in organic radical synthesis of organometallic compounds directly from metal and alkylhalides
