Description
The new role of the Center for Devices and Radiological Health to determine the safety and effectiveness of all medical devices is described. New radiation issues are associated with the use of nuclear magnetic resonance imaging, YAG lasers, Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripters and ultrasound. The role of NCRP as a collaborating organization is discussed
