Effects of longitudinal energy leakage on the measurement of kinematic variables
- 1. Inst. of Experimental Physics, Warsaw Univ. (Poland)
Description
The effects of the longitudinal energy leakage on the DIS measurement in ZEUS were studied using a fast detector simulation program. It was found that it is advisable to include the backing calorimeter in the energy measurement to avoid large acceptance corrections and to preserve good kinematic variables measurement. (orig.)
