Project Rio Blanco data report

Production test data are presented for an alternate reentry hole (RB-AR-2) directionally drilled into the lower chimney region from a surface location offset 1200 ft from the emplacement well. Previous tests indicated that no significant evidence of gas flow existed between the top and the two lower chimneys. Drawdown testing occurred between December 10 and December 16, 1974. The data presented are similar to those presented in NVO-148 in that they are preliminary and not accompanied by an interpretation of the test results. When the entire testing sequence is completed, all of the data will be analyzed, interpreted and published in a comprehensive report. Until that time, this document is made available to all individuals and organizations interested in the progress to date of Project Rio Blanco. The data presented includes gas and water production summaries, detailed gas, water and radionuclide production and injection disposal, temperature and pressure histories, gas composition analysis, and tracer analysis.
