Meson decays in a Bethe-Salpeter model
Description
It is shown that the Bethe-Salpeter amplitudes derived from a kernel with the spinor structure γ5 x γ5 in the harmonic-oscillator approximation give good results for the meson decays. If one includes the weight factors from the quark colours, strong, electromagnetic and weak meson decays are well described by an effective quark mass msub(q) = 1 GeV. (author)
