Practical applications of and international response to radiochemistry and radiochemical technology studies by the Nuclear Research Institute
Description
Research in ion exchange, extraction, fluorine chemistry and radioactive waste disposal is briefly described. Block diagrams are shown of the hydrolytic part of the pilot plant for uranium fluoride conversion to ammonium diuranate and of the equipment for cementation and bituminization of radioactive wastes designed in the Nuclear Research Institute and intended for the V-1 nuclear power plant in Jaslovske Bohunice.
