Study of structure and dynamics in solids and liquids by neutron scattering

Description
In this work we present the main experimental results obtained by inelastic slow neutron scattering and neutron diffraction at various spectrometers setups at the IBR-2 reactor in JINR-Dubna, and at the WWR-S reactor, IPNE-Bucharest. These results are concerning with the static and micro-dynamic structure of various materials, as liquid metals (Na, Ga), zirconium hydrides and deuterides (Zr Hx, Zr Dx, Zr H1.6 -moderator) at (20 to 750o C), the fuel-moderator system (Zr H1.6 O0.32 at 20 to 750o C) as well as the compounds Zr Hx Uy and Zr Dx Uy, liquid heavy water (20 to 250o C), actinide dioxides (U O2 at room temperature and Th O2 in the temperature range 20 to 1,000o C).
