Book
A study of entrance channel effects on fusion cross-section in heavy ion collisions at low energies
- 1. Nuclear Physics Laboratory, Department of Physics, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh (India)
Description
In the present work, an attempt has been made to understand the role of entrance channel parameters on incomplete fusion reactions by measuring the excitation functions at energies ≈ 4-7 MeV/nucleon. The experiments have been carried out at the Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi, India. The heavy-ion beams of 12C+6 and 19F+7 produced by the 15UD pelletron accelerator were focussed on isotopically pure 175Lu targets
