Transition between trapped electrons and runaway electrons induced by electron cyclotron wave in magnetic mirror plasma
Description
The effect of electron cyclotron wave on trapped electrons and runaway electrons in mirror plasma is discussed in the context of the Lagrangian formalism of the guiding center for charged particle developed by Littlejohn. The condition for transition between trapped electrons and runaway electrons is given, their transition probabilities are evaluated as well
