Description
Specific electric resistance of tantalum samples with ρ273.2K/ρ0 ratio from 90 up to 1510 was measured in 4.2-300 K range. For tantalum with ρ273.2K/ρ0 > 200 Tc temperature of superconducting transition is independent of sample purity and equals (4.50+-0.05) K. It is shown that electron scattering by phonons in tantalum, as in the case with vanadium makes contribution, proportional to T4. Temperature coefficient of resistance changes during sample cooling in the region of ∼ 155 K and at ∼ 175 K during heating
