Experimental determination of the mean flux in the moderator of a square lattice cell
Description
According to the heterogeneous diffusion theory and thus performed calculations it was stated that the measurements of mean flux in the moderator of a square lattice cell should be performed at the angle 27 deg 27 min. at the shortest distance between two fuel elements. The following experimental results were obtained: mean flux in the moderator, neutron attenuation factor. They were in good agreement with the calculated values
