Muon diffusion in rocks

Description
We obtained a simple relation between the energy spectrum of muons at sea level and the depth-intensity curve taking into account and discontinuous energy losses. We calculate the correction factor R for the range fluctuations of high energy muons. The spectral index γ of the power-law energy spectrum of muons at sea level can be easily obtained using R together with the slope L, taking from the vertical depth-intensity curve in the form of e-t/L.
