On-line system for measuring gamma radiation during Serpukhov proton synchrotron ring injector operation

Description

Hardware and software complex of ionization radiation on-line measurement enabling to carry out monitoring of dosimetric information from radiation safety control system of the IPHE proton synchrotron booster, is described. SUMMA-CAMAC standard is used as a basis of hardware, software is realized in BOS RV operation medium using SM-1810.50 microcomputer. There are 48 sensors of ionization radiation made on the basis of Geiger-Mueller counters belonging to Cu-37 g type in the system. The given system may be used as a diagnostic one in addition to the existing systems of beam control and diagnostics. 2 refs.; 1 fig
